Setting the
searchDialogMode to
Simple brings up the Simple search dialog when the search button is clicked. The simple search dialog takes a single token and applies it with wilcard matching to all the eligible character columns to give the greatest possible chance of find a match. If a finer degree of control is required in searching you can click the Standard By default simple searching is applyed to all the text columns. You can limit the columns against which the simple search is applied by specifying the
simpleSearch column property as false.
